Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach with personnel and their responsibilities, budgeting, scheduling, travel, meals recruiting, scouting, purchase and care of equipment, coaching, giving appropriate direction to student-athletes as it relates to academics, while adhering to all ACC, NCAA, Athletics Department, and University rules and regulations.
- Assist the Head Coach in implementing policies and guidelines for all Lacrosse personnel and student-athletes, design academic guidelines for student-athletes within the framework of NCAA, ACC, Athletics Department and University rules and regulations.
- Assist the Head Coach with the Lacrosse program.
- Assists with establishing and implementing recruiting, academic, athletic, and community service policies for student-athletes.
- Assists with Lacrosse summer camp.
- Provides training and guidance as appropriate. Privy to confidential information including player medical records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and one year of coaching experience at the high school level or above.
- Successful experience as a graduate assistant or intern in an athletic program is acceptable for up to one year of the required experience.
