Job Overview
This is a part-time seasonal (20-30 hours/week) assistant coach position for August – March. The assistant coach helps with preparation, practices, and games. This individual also assists in recruiting as needed.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Head Coach in all areas of practice and game preparation. Assist in scouting and recruiting prospective athletes. Assist in scouting opponents.
- Teach, train and evaluate student athletes.
- Assist Head Coach with evaluation and submission of grades for Physical Education credit

- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous collegiate participation and/or coaching experience preferred.
- Continually nurture a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; serve as a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintain a kind, Christ-like attitude in dealing with and ministering to people within and outside of Northwestern; and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, doctrinal statement, and Declaration of Christian Community.
