Job Overview

The Assistant Coach will fulfill all duties assigned by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics. These duties will range from training of student-athletes to recruitment of prospective student-athletes, to day-to-day management of the program. Principal Responsibilities:

• Assist with the coordination and administration of all aspects of the program as directed by the head coach.
• Assist with the recruitment of student-athletes who show potential as directed by the head coach.
• Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
• Encourage good sportsmanship.
• Demonstrate a commitment to the further development of the volleyball program.
• Attend all practices, team meetings, and matches unless otherwise agreed upon by the Head Coach.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Director of Athletics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous volleyball coaching experience.
• Working knowledge of the NCAA DIII rules/regulations.
