Job Overview
The primary responsibility of the Middle School Girls' Tennis Coach is supervising the participants enrolled in the Middle School Girls' Tennis program during practices and game.
Responsibilities:
- Attend all practices, matches, and tournaments during the season, including both home and away games.
- Assist students in developing and improving various tennis skills.
- Assess students' tennis skills to determine areas in need of improvement.
- Develop innovative ways to assist beginner and younger students in learning and remembering the rules of the games.
- Identify the best learning styles for each student and adapt coaching methods accordingly.
- Provide a secure and productive learning environment for students.
- Communicate, manage, and work with 6th, 7th and 8th grade tennis players.
- Develop a daily practice plan for each practice session.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Have proven experience working as a tennis coach or instructor
- Previous competitive tennis playing experience.
- Understand the rules of tennis.
- Collaborate with the girls' varsity tennis coach to meet the long-term needs of the girls tennis program.
