The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach with the coordination of all phases of a competitive NJCAA Division I athletic program. This is a great opportunity for someone who has some coaching experience in the following areas: Coaching, recruiting, budget management, travel management, rules and eligibility compliance, administrative duties, departmental fundraising, camps, game management, academic advising, marketing, promotions, and public relations.
Job Duties:
- Assist in all areas of the women’s soccer program as assigned by the Head Coach.
- Assist in practice/game planning, team tactics, and scouting.
- Oversee all aspects of the JV Team including travel and match scheduling.
- Work with student-athletes in individual/small group sessions.
- Develop professional and trusting relationships with women’s soccer staff and team.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
- Experience coaching/playing in the sport, college level required.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no direct supervision.
- Regular, prompt & reliable attendance.
