Job Overview
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with the Varsity Head Coach to implement a comprehensive girls soccer program.
- Work collaboratively with assistant coaches, parents, boosters and youth organizations.
- Provide leadership while teaching and modeling good sportsmanship.
- Provide appropriate supervision and management of team during practices and games.
- Use current best practices to teach and develop soccer skills, maintaining athlete safety.
- Consistently report game results to the Athletic Director and appropriate media outlets.
- Prior high school coaching experience preferred.
- Current CPR/AED certification or able to obtain.
- Current Sports First Aid certification or able to obtain.
- Maine Dept. of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Authorization, or ability to obtain.
