Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee all swim team practices and meets.
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to various skill levels.
- Provide individual coaching and feedback to swimmers to improve performance.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all swimmers during practices and meets.
- Recruit, train, and supervise assistant coaches and volunteers.
- Organize and manage swim team events, including meets, team-building activities, and clinics.
- Maintain accurate records of swimmer performance and attendance.
- Communicate regularly with swimmers, parents, and club management regarding team activities, schedules, and progress.
- Promote a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages sportsmanship and personal growth.
- Previous experience as a swim coach, preferably at a competitive level.
- Strong knowledge of swim techniques, training methods, and safety protocols.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (or willingness to obtain).
