Job Overview

The Assistant Coach will be responsible for supporting in the organization and management of the Women’s Volleyball Program, while reporting directly to the Head Coach. Duties are primarily during the fall season with recruiting and training responsibilities during the off-season as directed by the Head Coach. Principal Responsibilities:

• Assist with the coordination and administration of all aspects of the program as directed by the head coach.
• Assist with the recruitment of student-athletes who show potential as directed by the head coach.
• Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
• Encourage good sportsmanship.
• Demonstrate a commitment to the further development of the volleyball program.
• Attend all practices, team meetings, and matches unless otherwise agreed upon by the Head Coach.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Director of Athletics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous volleyball coaching experience.
• Working knowledge of the NCAA DIII rules/regulations.
