Job Overview
Silver Lake Regional High school is in search of an assistant coach to help with training and management of the high school Unified Track & Field program.
Qualifications:
- Experience coaching Unified athletics; experience working with a wide range of students, including those with intellectual disabilities.
- Previous high school coaching and teaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Teach the skills and strategies of track and field to student-athletes in grades 9-12.
- Be a role-model and teacher of track and field, including practice, game day coaching, conditioning of athletes, supervision of athletes, maintenance of practice facility and equipment.
- Determine awards for students and provide the athletic department with a list of team needs.
- Communicate regularly with families as needed.
