Job Overview
This is a seasonal position that requires a strong commitment to developing and coaching young athletes. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our JV soccer team, building team morale, and creating a positive and supportive team environment.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a demonstrated knowledge of soccer techniques, strategies and fundamentals.
- Ability to organize practice sessions.
- Ability to project a positive adult role model for students.
- Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and community.
- Willingness to implement the school district's "Athletic Philosophy," particularly as it pertains to: a) Athletic Code; b) discipline; c) team concepts.
- Ability to cooperate and work with the Athletic Director and High School Principal on matters involving the soccer program.
- Ability to provide locker room supervision.
- Previous coaching experience desired, but not required.
