Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Conduct an initial evaluation: listen to patient’s needs and goals.
- Create a personalized plan of care.
- Exercise personal judgment by making modifications as needed.
- Administer hands on quality therapy, motivate and encourage patients.
- Execute thorough documentation of patient’s progress.
- Create a custom home exercise program.
- Maintain patient privacy/confidentiality.
- A Valid License in Missouri to practice physical therapy, and in good standing.
- Physical Therapy is a people business, so candidates must like people! In addition, being likable cannot be overestimated.
- Having a high EQ really is essential to be successful: Therapy with a heart! Compassion and communication (verbal and written) are key.
- Good physical stamina: as a highly active career, strength & endurance are critical tools for success.
- Strong time-management skills and detail-oriented.
- Able to demonstrate the value of physical therapy in a respectful, friendly, professional way and maintain a high level of personal ethics.
- Must be dependable, flexible, coachable and kind to patients and teammates.
