Job Overview
Works with the Men’s Soccer head coach in all facets of the men’s soccer program to ensure a quality program and successful Division I team. Responsible for player development, scouting, recruiting coordination, community relations, scheduling, academic supervision, and equipment management. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or state recognized equivalent.
- Experience as a competitor and/or coach at the club, college, or international level, or equivalent.
- Ability to travel and work evening and weekend hours as required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to establish and maintain driver eligibility under CSU’s Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.
- Knowledge of NCAA and conference rules and legislation and committed to abiding by them.
- Strong organizational and excellent interpersonal skills and have a “Customer Focus” attitude and delivery.
- Possess the ability to effectively plan and coordinate, establish and maintain effective working relationships and prioritize workloads based on available resources.
- Possess the ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and tackle emergencies and difficult situations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and decision-making abilities.
- Possess a high degree of confidentiality to available information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
