Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all NCAA, conference, departmental and institutional guidelines and policies
- Demonstrate leadership and professional behavior when dealing with all constituent groups, including and prioritizing student-athletes, athletics department coaches and staff, and all members of the University community.
- Coordination of practice and game planning and coaching.
- Individual & small group coaching sessions and film sessions.
- Game day meetings, coaching, post-game debrief.
- Participation in community service events.
- Leverage Teamworks software to coordinate prospective student-athlete recruitment
- Work with admissions office, and members of the Enrollment Management Division, to ensure recruitment of student athletes is consistent and follows institutional best practices
- On and off-campus recruitment, including outreach via mailings, phone calls, visits and electronic communication.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Intercollegiate playing experience desired.
- Collegiate coaching experience preferred.
