Job Overview

Duties:

  1. Develops a program that will be competitive in the Pacific West Conference.
  2. Successfully recruit and retain academically and athletically motivated student athletes who will have a positive impact on the program and campus.
  3. Plan, schedule and conduct team practices and workouts.
  4. Prepare annual (conference and non-conference) schedules for submission to the Director of Athletics.
  5. Manage all aspects of home contests, including coordination of facilities and officials.
  6. Coordinates the program’s fundraising activities and the outreach of alumni.
  7. Completes and submits all required compliance forms.
  8. Timely submission of CARA and recruit logs.
  9. Knows and abides by the rules, regulations and policies of the University of Hawaii, the Athletics Department, the Pacific West Conference and the NCAA.
  10. Performs other duties/functions as assigned.
 

Qualifications:

  1. Possession of a baccalaureate degree or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
  2. Three (3) years-experience coaching Golf at the collegiate level.
  3. Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  4. Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
