Job Overview
Duties:
- Develops a program that will be competitive in the Pacific West Conference.
- Successfully recruit and retain academically and athletically motivated student athletes who will have a positive impact on the program and campus.
- Plan, schedule and conduct team practices and workouts.
- Prepare annual (conference and non-conference) schedules for submission to the Director of Athletics.
- Manage all aspects of home contests, including coordination of facilities and officials.
- Coordinates the program’s fundraising activities and the outreach of alumni.
- Completes and submits all required compliance forms.
- Timely submission of CARA and recruit logs.
- Knows and abides by the rules, regulations and policies of the University of Hawaii, the Athletics Department, the Pacific West Conference and the NCAA.
- Performs other duties/functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a baccalaureate degree or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
- Three (3) years-experience coaching Golf at the collegiate level.
- Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
