Job Overview

This position will serve as a senior member of the athletics administrative team responsible for departmental strategic planning, supervision, and management of the safety and well-being of students, coaches, and staff.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for all eligibility certification, supervising playing and practice seasons, creating and managing National Letters of Intent (NLI), and enforcement and supervision of the department's Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) policies
  2. Monitor and assist with the progress of prospective student-athletes through the institutional admissions process, including transcript evaluation for incoming freshmen and transfer student-athletes.
  3. Monitor and assist prospective student-athletes with the NCAA Eligibility Center process.
  4. Prepare all NCAA squad lists, national letters of intent, and financial aid agreements.
  5. Coordinate receipt and distribution of student athlete transcripts and student records as needed for eligibility and/or waiver purposes.
  6. Monitor student accounts related to athletic and institutional scholarships.
  7. Monitor academic, amateurism, eligibility, and financial aid rules of the NCAA, Gulf South Conference, and Christian Brothers University.
  8. Maintain records of student athletes outside competition, employment, and other activities related to their amateurism status.
  9. Assist with sports event administration.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
  2. Three (3) years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specific to this position.
  3. Excellent communication and computer skills required.
  4. Must be able to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
