ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Work with the Varsity Head Coach to implement a comprehensive baseball program.
2. Work collaboratively with other program coaches, parents, boosters and youth organizations.
3. Provide positive leadership while teaching and modeling good sportsmanship during practices and games
4. Provide adequate supervision and management of team members during practices and games.
5. Use current best practices to teach and develop baseball skills, maintaining athlete safety.
6. Consistently report game results to Athletic Director and appropriate media outlets.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Prior high school baseball coaching experience preferred.
2. Current CPR/AED certification, or ability to attain.
3. Current Sports First Aid Certification, or ability to attain.
4. State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
