QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Evidence of successful competitive playing and/or coaching experience.
2. Must be 21 years old per WIAA regulations.
3. Current First Aid/CPR card.
4. Ability to obtain a Pullman School District Type II driver’s license upon hire.

ESSENTIAL JOB-RELATED ACTIVITIES:

1. Work positively with student athletes to teach essential athletic skills necessary to compete, teach proper attitudes to play the sport competitively, and teach proper attitudes regarding winning gracefully and losing with dignity.
2. Game preparation and set up.
3. Scheduling and implementation of the end of the season awards banquet.
4. Positive presentation of the program to the Pullman High School community.
5. Work within guidelines of WIAA, Greater Spokane League, and the Pullman School District.
6. Complete all WIAA and League Rules Clinics.
7. Maintain accurate and current rosters and report them to the athletic office.
8. Monitor the safety and conduct of all athletes at all times.
9. Provide leadership in developmental programs.
10. Verify and ensure the eligibility of all students who participate in the program.
11. Report game results as assigned; keep student body and parents informed.
12. Submit transportation requests to the transportation department for travel to and from games and/or practices.
13. Coordinate player development and skill level.
14. Cooperate with other school programs.
