Essential Responsibilities:

1. Represent Saint Bede Academy and the football program in a positive, professional manner.
2. Promote a positive culture within the football program and school community in support of the Head Football Coach.
3. Manage and supervise assigned football activities, games and practice sessions to promote individual growth in skills, teamwork, discipline, respect and good sportsmanship.
4. Collaborate with other coaches to provide a variety of differentiated instructional techniques and technology to meet the needs and improve the abilities of ALL student athletes in football.
5. Demonstrate ability to work in a team and provide role model skills for students.
6. Ability to appropriately incorporate the spiritual component within the program.

Knowledge/Skills/Attributes, not limited to:

1. High school or above level playing/coaching experience and advanced knowledge in the sport.
2. Understand and respect the past history of the football program and can contribute to the advance and care for said program.
3. Adhere to SBA/IHSA regulations, expectations, policies and procedures as to contribute to the good working order and mission of the school.
4. Demonstrate ethical and supportive behaviors and uphold integrity while serving as a role model to students.
