About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver daily PE lessons aligned to Arizona standards and Career Ready expectations.
- Develop units that build physical fitness, motor skills, and knowledge of health and wellness.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners across grade levels.
- Post lesson plans and materials electronically in a timely manner.
- Create a structured, positive, and achievement-oriented environment.
- Teach and reinforce character development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Incorporate literacy strategies into instruction when appropriate.
- Maintain clear routines, expectations, and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- CPR and First Aid Certification required.
- Ability to teach across Pre-K through 12th grade.
- Ability to coach after-school programs.
- Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
- Preferred: Arizona Department of Education Teaching Certificate or Intern Certificate.
