Primary Purpose:
• Provide a holistic approach to each student’s education, while developing the skills needed to excel in the sport(s) assigned.
• Embrace and encourage a state level culture, while continually growing all extracurricular activities.Coach under the loyalty of a blue collar community and the unwavering support of an outstanding administrative staff.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid Texas teaching certificate
• Teaching field is open
• Current first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillator (AED) certificateClear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements

Special Knowledge/Skills:
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules.
• Knowledge of sports specific coaching techniques and procedures, to include film breakdown, practice planning, and individual position management.
• Ability to instruct and hold student athletes accountable within a championship caliber culture.Ability to operate within the bounds of the Queen City Athletic department’s core values – Relationships, Growth, Belief, Integrity, Discipline and Service.

Experience:
One year of teaching/coaching experience and/or Professional/College/Varsity participant experience in the sport assigned.
