Summer Camp Head Coach Opportunities – the best summer job of your life!
Camp Wildwood
Bridgton, Maine, Since 1953, Camp Wildwood has been a family-owned summer camp for boys aged 7-15 on the sparkling shores of Woods Pond in the beautiful town of Bridgton, Maine. Surrounded by towering pines and crisp air, Wildwood is the kind of place campers and coaches never forget.
Team sports are at the heart of life here , and we’re looking for coaches who want to inspire kids in a high-energy, team-oriented environment, while honing their own skills. Beyond the coaching, you’ll build confidence, leadership ability, and friendships that last well beyond the summer.
We are hiring coaches for: LACROSSE, BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, FLAG FOOTBALL, HOCKEY (ice & street)
A great coach can change a child’s summer. Coaches at Wildwood are more than instructors; they are mentors, role models, and steady guides during some of the most formative years of a child’s life. Beyond wins and losses, they help kids build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and self-belief. For many campers, a coach is the person who notices effort, encourages through failure, celebrates growth, and models leadership with character. That impact lasts long after the final whistle, shaping how kids show up in school, on teams, and in life.
You’ll coach athletes of all levels – from beginners learning fundamentals to advanced high school players refining technique and competitive play.
If you care about sports, leadership, and making a real difference, Wildwood offers a coaching experience that truly matters. When summer ends, you won’t just have memories – you’ll have a second family and stories you’ll tell for years.
And at Wildwood, you don’t just work – you live, learn, and play. Hit tennis balls, cast a line in the lake, jump into a pickup game, or challenge yourself on the ropes course. Every day brings a new opportunity to try something different.
