Job Summary
We’re looking for a driven and resourceful Business Development Manager to help expand GamedayLGX’s footprint across collegiate athletics while opening doors with professional organizations.
This is a high-impact role focused on generating new business, building relationships, and driving revenue growth. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing partnerships, and leading the full sales cycle across both our service offerings and our upcoming software platform.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, relationship-oriented, and excited about building something in a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop new business opportunities across collegiate athletics, with expansion into professional sports organizations
-Identify and connect with decision-makers, including athletic departments, operations leaders, and administrators
-Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to closing new business
-Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
-Lead discovery conversations, presentations, and proposals tailored to client needs
-Help introduce and position GamedayLGX’s upcoming software platform to prospective clients
-Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience from sale through execution
-Maintain an organized pipeline and track activity consistently
-Represent GamedayLGX at industry events, meetings, and conferences Qualifications
3–7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
Proven ability to generate pipeline and close new business independently
Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
Experience managing full sales cycles, including outreach, discovery, and closing
Self-starter with a high level of ownership and accountability
Highly organized with strong follow-through
Preferred:
Experience working in or with collegiate athletics or professional sports organizations
Background in logistics, travel, or service-based sales
Experience selling software or technology solutions (SaaS experience is a plus)
Experience in a fast-growing or entrepreneurial environment
Commission structure
