Located in Freehold, NJ, the organization combines personal training principles with athletic performance development to create a unique approach to strength and conditioning.
Role Description
The Strength and Conditioning Coach will develop and implement training programs tailored to improve athletes’ strength, performance, and overall fitness. Responsibilities include conducting strength training sessions, assessing and monitoring athlete progress, designing injury prevention strategies, and maintaining a safe and supportive training environment. The coach will also educate athletes on exercise techniques and ensure they align with Mach 1 Barbell’s “3 E’s” philosophy. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Freehold, NJ.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Strength & Conditioning and Athletic Performance training techniques
• Knowledge in Sports Science and Injury Prevention methodologies
• Experience in designing and leading Strength Training programs
• Ability to build personalized training plans and provide individual attention to athletes
• Excellent communication and motivational skills to foster a positive training environment
• National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification is preferred
• Experience in weightlifting or competitive athletic training is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field is beneficial
