pAssist coaching staff in day-to-day operations with the program in the area of pole vault, including but not limited to coaching, athlete development, recruiting, academic support and general operations with NCAA rules. This is a part-time role averaging 10 hours per week./p

pstrongPrimary Duties/Essential Functions/strong/p

liAssist in planning and execution of practice sessions that feature the education of student-athletes in the development of techniques, skills and theory of the sport. /li
liIdentify and evaluate prospective student athletes who are good fits for the university both athletically and academically; communicating with PSAs and families; processing official and unofficial visits while communicating through the completion of necessary admissions and university documents./li
liAssist in student-athlete personnel meetings./li
liMonitor the conditioning and training of team members in conjunction with athletic trainers and team physicians. /li
liComprehend and operate by standards set forth in the NCAA and APU Manuals, while working cooperatively with university coaches, staff, faculty, and community members./li
liAid in education and enforcement of NCAA rules as they relate to documentation and input of information in JumpForward and the NCAA Institutional Request List (IRL). /li
liAid in discipleship and mentoring of student-athletes./li
liAttend required department meetings and NCAA rules presentations./li
liAssist with team travel arrangements./li
liAid in academic support of student-athletes./li
liAssist staff in fundraising, alumni relations, community outreach and ministry opportunities./li
liAssist in supervision of team equipment./li
liAssist in transportation of team as needed for off campus events./li
liDisplay of an active commitment to an evangelical Christian philosophy and lifestyle./li
