Assistant Athletic Director – Sports Medicine

Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for operating the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics Sports Medicine Department. Responsible for the treatment of ill and/or injured student-athletes. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with team physicians, scheduling appointments, following medical guidelines and following up on evaluations/test results. Maintain proper medical documentation and insurance claims. Inventory tracking, distribution, and maintenance of supplies. Initiate frequent communication with coaching staff, administrators, sports medicine staff, and other medical professionals. Coordinate pre-participation exams and the medical clearance process. Supervise sports medicine staff.
