Responsibilities:

Supports the fundamental philosophy, skills and techniques for the program
Maintains knowledge of all sport, school, league, section and state rules and by-laws
Foster training in conduct, ethics and sportsmanship for all athletes and coaches
Supervision of the athletes before, during and after workouts
Continually enhance professional expertise in the relevant field by means such as attending clinics, joining professional organizations, and reading professional literature
Work with the Athletic Director to solve problems at the lowest level while supporting the ideas of the program/parent/coaches concerning procedures
Shall perform such necessary duties in this position which are not specifically stated but which are considered by competent authorities to be generally associated with the Assistant Coaching position

Qualifications:

Demonstrates three-years of successful experience as a high school Football coach or equivalent experience as a player or club coach
Demonstrates knowledge of the fundamental skills and techniques, as well as the advanced techniques in the sport of football
Demonstrates successful personality and character traits appropriate to Catholic educational leadership
Demonstrates successful ability to teach, enforce, advocate and model appropriate behavior, character traits, Christian and educational values to student-athletes
Demonstrates successful ability to teach, organize and supervise student-athletes
Demonstrates successful management and organizational skills
Demonstrates successful ability to work with parent groups, administrators, staff and students
Current CPR/First Aid, NFHS or ASEP certification
List of references or at least twoletters of recommendation
