Assistant Track and Field Coach

Job Summary

Join our Track and Field team as an Assistant Track and Field Coach, in the sprints, jumps, hurdles, or throws, where your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire student-athletes to reach their full potential. In this role, you will support the development of track and field athletes through coaching, mentorship, and program management. Duties

Assist in planning and executing training sessions for various track and field events, including sprints, jumps, throws, and distance running
Support athletes in developing proper techniques, form, and safety protocols during practice and competitions
Help coordinate team logistics such as scheduling practices, meets, and travel arrangements
Monitor athlete behavior and promote positive sportsmanship through effective behavior management strategies
Contribute to the creation of a motivating and inclusive team environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth
Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and safety inspections to ensure a secure training environment
Collaborate with head coaches to evaluate athlete progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement

Experience

Prior experience in sports coaching or athletic training, preferably within track and field or related sports disciplines
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
Experience in behavior management techniques to foster discipline and positive conduct among young athletes

Pay: $1,000.00 – $3,000.00 per year
