Assistant Athletic Director

Qualifications

Valid Indiana Teacher License
Advanced degree in Administration, Management, Coaching, or related field, preferred
Successful experience coaching high school athletics, head coaching experience preferred
CPR and AED Certification, currently is or has the ability to become a BLS (Basic Life Support) Trainer
Excellent communicator, in both written and verbal forms
Bonded or ability to be bonded at the standard underwriting guidelines for the position

Responsibilities

Assist with the supervision of athletic teams and programs including, but not limited to contracts, evaluation of coaches, supervision at events, and officials.
Assist with and makes recommendations to the Athletic Director for the hiring of head coaches and assistant coaches
Assist with the onboarding of new coaching staff (paid and volunteer) and assistant district personnel office with paperwork, including background checks
Attend, supervise, and assist with the coordination of home events, including, but not limited to, football, boys’ and girls’ basketball events
