Responsibilities
Provide trainer coverage for all intercollegiate contests for club sports
Evaluate sports injuries and make appropriate referrals
Manage concussion-related injuries and follow-up
Collaborate with health services and coaches regarding athlete status
Proctor ImPACT testing and maintain communication with health services
Order and manage inventory of supplies for club sports teams
Maintain accurate injury records for club sports players
Educate athletes and coaches about concussions
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education or a related field
Rhode Island licensed Athletic Trainer
National Athletic Trainers’ Association Certified Athletic Trainer
CPR/AED Professional Rescuer certification
Strong ability to work effectively with student-athletes
