Athletic DirectorRequired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degreeThree to five years of experience in high school athletic administrationKnowledge of Michigan High School Athletics Association rules and regulations, and a commitment to following themKnowledge of Title IX rules and regulationsAn ability to plan, organize, and supervise all athletic programs comprised of multiple coaches and multiple athletic teamsA leadership style that will generate trust, confidence, and enthusiasm among students, staff members, and parentsA commitment to high expectations for self, students, and staffA commitment to the purpose of education-based athleticsIntegrity, poise, and the ability to clearly articulate information and ideas verbally and in writingAbility to recognize and resolve conflictsA strong and proven work ethicThis position requires regular and reliable in-person attendancePreferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or Sports AdministrationMichigan School Administrator certification or NIAAA certificationPrevious coaching experience at the high school level. Varsity head coaching experience preferredExperience in mentoring and evaluation of coachesCompensation:
