HIRING SALARY RANGE: $92,314 – $110,777 per year

SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:Support the principal, teachers and students in any way feasible that will promote the school and District goals toward education of students and provide a safe environment and physical plant for all to work in.

ESSENTIAL JOB ELEMENTS:
Serve as school/community communication liaison. Organize and administer the overall program of CHSAA sanctioned Athletic/activities at the school. Supervise students and activities of designated athletic/activities budget, rules, eligibility, etc. Supervises students and administers school and district attendance and discipline policies pertaining to athletics/activities. Identify, submit and follow up maintenance requests specific to athletic/activities facility safety and upkeep. Identify, submit and follow up maintenance requests specific to athletic/activities facility safety and upkeep. Authorize leave requests as needed, athletic/activities purchase orders substitute authorizations, disbursements and facility use agreements pertaining to athletics/activities. Coordinate and schedule day-to-day procedures and facility use as it pertains to athletics/activities. Coordinates home events and many away athletic/activities and assists with supervision of those events/activities. Select, train and evaluate all coaching/activities sponsored positions. Foster good school and community relationships related to all CHSAA booster, accountability, public relations athletic/activities. Participate in the evaluation and selection of new sports. Promote and enforce good sportsmanship and discipline among staff, public and students. Administer the athletics budget for all CHSAA athletic/activities in the school and supervise related fundraising events. Establish and monitor adherence to CHSAA, League, District and school rules and regulations regarding eligibility, discipline and participation in athletics/activities. Assist as on-site director in supervision of unscheduled activities. Compile and update District Athletic/Activities Handbook. Prepare and maintain all athletic/activity facilities. Coordinate event management including officials/transportation and other workers. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
MA degree in Education or related field (preferred) Possess or be eligible for a Colorado Type D Certificate or Principal License Relevant prior experience, including 3 years of successful teaching experience Demonstrated effective problem solving skills Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, models of instruction Knowledge of Special Education and Second Language Acquisition regulations and strategies for services Coaching experience and knowledge of CHSAA regulations
