Bluegrass Orthopaedics is seeking full-time Athletic Trainers to join our Sports Medicine team with interest in high school or collegiate athletics! Bluegrass Orthopaedics provides Athletic Training services to four local high schools and two NCAA Division III Collegiate Athletic Departments. These positions are full-time assignments at the schools with no requirement of duties within the physician clinic.
Starting salary range for this role is $50,000 – $60,000 based on years experience, and offers an excellent benefits package (health, dental, vision, long term disability, life insurances; paid licensure fees; continuing education allowance; 401K/profit sharing plans).
Job Requirements:
Education requirement:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Bachelor’s required, Masters and/or 2 years of experience is preferred
Certification requirements:
Current CPR certification required
ATC certification required, as well as Kentucky licensure or eligible for licensure
Must be able to demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and clearly (both written and oral
communication) and interact effectively with patients and other employees at all levels of the organization
Bluegrass Orthopaedics has been serving Central and Southeastern Kentucky for over 25 years. We offer a variety of services for all areas of sports medicine, total joint care, industrial medicine and foot, ankle and hand care. This position also offers extensive opportunities for per diem work.
