Assistant 8th Grade Boys Basketball Coach

The Ames Middle School coaching staff is looking for an Assistant 8th Grade Boys Basketball Coach for the 2022-2023 season.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Head 8th Grade coach in running a competitive boy's basketball program.
• Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
• Abides by strict confidentiality at all times.
• Attends work on a consistent and punctual basis.
• Creates a sense of belonging and a welcoming environment for all athletes and families.
• Onsite work required.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A current Department of Education Coaching Authorization.
• Experience coaching basketball at the high school or middle school level.
