Under general supervision of the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance, this position will assist in all day-to-day compliance operations of the Athletics Department to ensure strict adherence with university, sports conference affiliations, and the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) rules and regulations.
Minimum 2 years demonstrated full-time experience and expertise in knowledge of NCAA athletic compliance. Experience at a NCAA Division I institution, conference office, or NCAA national office preferred.
Proven ability to interact with a diverse population; work with policies and procedures in a University environment; establish and manage goals and strategies; assess situations, think analytically, make difficult decisions; some evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Developed organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrated knowledge and competency with Microsoft office suite, NCAA software systems, and ARMS Software or equivalent software system.
Typically a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
