Description
The Assistant Athletic Director for Broadcast and Video Boards is responsible for leading video board production and broadcasts. Individual is responsible for collaborating with internal and external constituency groups to identify stories; utilizing existing and emerging video technologies; instituting best practices; developing unit workflows; and cultivating fan engagement and affinity through compelling video and digital media content as assigned.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of three years of previous experience in video production/digital media content (intern, GA, and professional experience applicable).
- Previous experience in NCAA Division I Athletics or similar live production events, including camera crew directing and the use of replays.
- Knowledge in the fields of marketing, multimedia, and technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Proficiency in a variety of software products and video/graphic design programs.
- Ability to work on projects individually, as well as within a team.
- Ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability and willingness to conduct activities in compliance with NCAA, Mountain West and Colorado State University rules and regulations.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Student employee and freelance production supervisory experience.
- Multi-sport gameday experience in intercollegiate athletics.
