Assistant Athletic Director for Communications

Requirements:

• Write press releases and game recaps with high proficiency.
• Maintain information on the Athletics webpage.
• Serve as primary media liaison for LSUS Athletics.
• Assist and oversee the press box and/or scoring table for athletic contests.
• If possible, serve as PA announcer at baseball, basketball, and soccer games.
• Must be willing to work closely with coaches to ensure that information on the website including statistics are accurate.
• Serve as the Champions of Character liaison.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Have 3 years of collegiate sports information/design experience
• Experience in social media
• Experience in stat keeping particularly with PrestoSports Stats
• Experience in graphic design
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Strong computer and writing skills.
