Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive compliance programs and policies for our athletics department.
• Monitor and enforce NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations to maintain compliance in all aspects of our athletic programs.
• Provide guidance and support to coaches, student-athletes, and staff on compliance matters.
• Oversee the recruiting process to ensure that it adheres to all NCAA rules and regulations.
• Conduct educational sessions and workshops for coaches, recruits, and their families regarding recruiting rules and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all recruiting activities and official visits.
• Collaborate with academic advisors to monitor the academic progress and eligibility of student-athletes.
• Ensure that all student-athletes meet eligibility requirements to participate in athletics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in intercollegiate athletics as a student athlete, coach and/or administrator.
• Strong understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong ethical and moral character with a commitment to integrity.
