Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Development and implementation of girls’ sports programs.
- Promote participation and engagement in girls’ athletics at all levels.
- Collaborate with coaches, athletes, and parents to ensure program success and communication.
- Support the recruitment and retention of female athletes.
- Coordinate schedules, events, and resources for all girls’ sports teams.
- Assist the Athletic Director in managing and overseeing the athletic department’s operations.
- Help develop and implement policies and procedures related to athletics.
- Coordinate logistical aspects of games, practices, and athletic events.
- Assist in managing budgets, equipment, and facilities for the athletic department.
- Assist in evaluating coaches.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, and UIL regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Previous Head Coaching experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes while maintaining a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of UIL regulations.
- At least 5 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
