Description
Under the direction of the Deputy Athletics Director/COO, the Assistant AD of External Operations is responsible for managing Athletics external department day-to-day operations in the areas of ticket sales, engagement, and marketing.
Duties:
- Assist with planning and execution of high-level Athletic events.
- Donor dedications, nationally broadcasted games, major fundraising initiatives.
- Planning and execution of all game day operations.
- Collaborates with coaches and administrators for sport- specific marketing campaigns and goals.
- Serve as department liaison to ticketing operations for all of campus.
- Utilize written communication skills to develop external promotions, graphics and ads to Athletics supporters, alumni, and fans.
- Track external engagement data and analytics.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, public relations, communications or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years professional experience in fundraising, marketing, engagement, events or other related field. Direct experience in college athletics preferred.
