The position will oversee and coordinate the daily operation, scheduling and supervision of all athletic facilities. This position will also oversee two intern positions and a staff of student work-study employees. This individual will direct all on campus intercollegiate events, as well as any outside athletic groups that rent the athletic facilities.
Primary event manager for all of Iona’s 21 Division I athletic programs including setup and logistics.
Supervise the daily operation and scheduling of all Iona athletic facilities, to include building maintenance.
Serve as athletic department liaison with the Facilities Management department.
Perform equipment management duties to many of the teams.
Supervise two graduate interns and 50 student workers
Contract with outside teams and groups to rent the athletic space as a means of generating additional revenue for the college.
Take care of laundry needs for all athletic teams and staff members.
Serves as Sports Supervisor and Sports Administrator for various sports teams.
B.S. degree required from a recognized college or university. Master’s degree preferred.
Facility management and supervisory experience required. Must be very organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter. Computer skills required.
A valid NYS Driver's License or equivalent is required.
Some physical lifting is required.
