St. Edward's University of Austin, Texas invites applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Director of Operations. The assistant director of operations will support the overall mission and strategic goals of the university and the athletic department. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all athletic facilities with an emphasis on safety, functionality, and presentation; assist in developing and executing an annual plan to increase the revenue generated by the Department of Athletics; providing leadership in departmental policy, budget, and goal setting. The individual in this position must promote St. Edward's University in a professional manner at all times while promoting a positive and productive working relationship with other staff members.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
Manage maintenance requests to ensure that all facilities are in optimal playing conditions for all SEU athletic practices, competitions, and external events.
Create and implement a preventative maintenance plans for facilities and major equipment.
Evaluate existing building maintenance and system efficiencies/deficiencies and propose improvements as needed.
Serve as point of contact for field maintenance vendor (RS3).
Ensure COVID protocols are followed.
