Assistant Athletics Director, Facilities and Events

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree preferably in sports management, physical education, or related field.
• Four (4) years of experience in facility operations or athletic event operations in youth, club, intercollegiate or professional athletics. Experience includes any graduate assistant or internship roles.
• Leadership experience.
• Ability to be flexible regarding daily work schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to establish and maintain driver eligibility under CSU’s Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.

Essential Duties:

• Oversees the operations of athletics facilities, including coordination of maintenance requests, renovation projects, and facility rental agreements.
• Manages game-day operations for all varsity sports to ensure smooth execution in accordance with Cleveland State University (CSU), NCAA, and league policies.
• Assists in administering the access control system for athletics facilities.
• Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
