Assistant Baseball Coach

Logistical support and assistance with coaching outfielders, catchers and pitching; must be able to handle a fungo and throw BP and assist with recruiting student-athletes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field.
• Coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level or playing experience at the professional or collegiate level.
• Valid driver’s license.

DUTIES:

• Serves students.
• Recruit prospective student-athletes to the AWC baseball team using various forms of electronic, telephonic and face-to-face communication.
• Assist student-athletes with the admissions process.
• Position requires an understanding of campus facilities and department functions with the ability to communicate these functions to prospective student-athletes and their families both electronically and face-to-face.
