Assistant Baseball Coach

Grinnell College is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach. Do you have knowledge and experience in pitching…then this is the part-time roll you have been looking for. This coach will work with athletes to develop and grow their skills, assist in planning productive practices, and evaluate player performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with specific sub-groups of student athletes building skills.
• Assist with practice planning, performance review and analysis.
• Assist with practice planning, performance review and analysis.
• Work with head coach to identify, target, recruit and yield high-level student athletes, and support a diverse group of academically and athletically talented student-athletes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1 year or more experience.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Utilize interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff and motivate student athletes.
• Plan, organize, and efficiently manage their workload.
• Possess an understanding of NCAA Division III and conference rules and regulations.
