Assistant Boys Basketball Coach

Moffat County High School is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and team oriented candidate to fill an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach position.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of all Basketball team levels.
• Summer and/or off season programs.
• Teaching fundamental and advanced skills of basketball.
• Assists with the development of expectations and positive direction of the basketball program.
• Tracking of eligibility and academic progress of students.
• Preparation of team for competition.
• Must attend all meetings required and keep communication with parents, players, staff, media in good standing.
• Responsible for the general upkeep, protection, distribution, collection and inventory of all equipment.
• Is responsible for the appropriate use of school facilities and property.
• Follow school district and CHSAA regulations and policies
• Represents the school and school district at all times during interscholastic practices, meetings, and activities.

Qualifications:

• Previous basketball coaching experience and/or knowledge of the fundamental and advanced skills of basketball.
• CPR/First Aid Certified.
• Knowledgeable of CHSAA regulations or willingness to become knowledgeable.
• Be willing to be part of a team environment.
