Assists the head coach with all aspects of the soccer program including practices and conditioning, player development, recruiting, public relations, and supporting the academic development and graduation of student-athletes. Performs other duties, as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Proven record of successful soccer coaching or program experience at the collegiate or club level. Education and experience necessary to perform all the functions of a Division I Assistant Soccer Coach. Commitment to adhere to NCAA and OVC rules and regulations as well as University policies and procedures.
Beyond meeting minimum requirements, candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for Division I assistant coaching including the academic development and graduation of student-athletes, promoting the welfare of student-athletes, recruiting, practice, conditioning, player and public relations, and fundraising. Coaching philosophy must complement the philosophy of the head coach.
