Assistant Coach – Baseball

Reporting to the Head Baseball Coach, the Assistant Coach will assist in developing, organizing and administering all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III Baseball team. This is a four (4) month, part-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Recruiting qualified student-athletes;
• Coaching;
• Conducting and supervising regular practice sessions and contests;
• Assisting with the coordination of all team travel and assisting in driving a passenger van for away team travel;
• Acting as a mentor for student-athlete personal development;
• Assisting in the coordination of fundraising and community services events.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and baseball coaching experience at the college, high school, club or travel level with demonstrated success.
• Must have and maintain the appropriate valid NYS driver's license and have a motor vehicle record which is free from major violations or a pattern of repeat violations.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and must have a commitment to student-athlete academic success and well-being.
