Description
Eaton Rapids High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our athletic department as an Assistant Coach for the Boys Golf team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in golf, coaching experience, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the course. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to enhance the team's performance, foster a positive team culture, and ensure a successful and competitive golf program.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a demonstrated knowledge of golf techniques, strategies and fundamentals.
- Ability to organize practice sessions.
- Ability to project a positive adult role model for students.
- Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and community.
- Willingness to implement the school district's "Athletic Philosophy," particularly as it pertains to: a) Athletic Code; b) discipline; c) team concepts.
- Ability to cooperate and work with the Athletic Director and High School Principal on matters involving the baseball program.
- Ability to provide locker room supervision.
- Previous coaching experience desired, but not required.
