Description
Responsible for duties associated with a Division I Football program including assisting the Head Coach with the following: prospect evaluation, recruiting, training, coaching, competing successfully, student-athlete academic achievement, student-athlete conduct and welfare, compliance with the Governing Athletics Rules and University Rules, scheduling assistance, and the overall effective performance of the program’s student-athletes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Successful experience as an assistant or head football coach at an elite level.
- Experience with on-campus recruiting visits of prospective student-athletes.
- Thorough knowledge of NCAA recruiting, academic, and administrative rules and regulations as they pertain to collegiate football programs.
- Experience in a championship-quality collegiate environment.
- Ability to collaborate with staff and provide critical thinking and consultation to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ability to project the image of the University of Texas and the Athletics Department with dignity and grace regardless of circumstances and environments.
