Description
The Assistant Coach of Football possesses the technical knowledge to assist in all aspects of the intercollegiate sport of football including coaching, recruiting, scheduling, program administration and budgeting. Additional responsibilities may include performing administrative duties as assigned at the discretion of the Director of Athletics.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of effective football coaching at the secondary or post secondary level or 1 – 3 years’ professional competitive experience is required.
- A history of successful recruiting to a highly selective institution is preferable.
- Variable depending on season.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings.
- Frequent overnight travel with student athletes may be required during the football season.
- All coaches are required to be on campus during the academic year (late August – early June) and are expected to keep hours that make them readily available to student-athletes.
- Recruitment responsibilities during the summer months may require additional travel.
